Show Mr. and Mrs. Niels Johansen 1st., entertained at a family dinner at their home Saturdry evening in honor of the former's birthday. About twenty twen-ty guests were present and a delightful delight-ful social affair was the result. Mrs. J. P. Anderson of Ephraim 1 and Mrs. Hans Poulson of St. Antho-j ny, were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Gil - bert Beckstrom Wednesday and Thursday. . j Mrs. Andrew Larsen and daugh-: tors. Ina and Blanche, returned from a month's visit in Shelly, Idaho, last Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Merz, Mr. and '. Mrs. Boon Brotherson, Monte Sco-field Sco-field and Lola Bach man of Spring ' City, enjoyed a delightful fishing trip to Thistle Junction Wednesday. Luncheon, mountain air, a few fish and a jolly good crowd made the day one of pleasure from start to finish and they say it will not be forgotten soon. The trip was mnd3 by auto-. The Misses Eliza and Susie Burton entertained a number of lady friends at their home Thursday evening at a Kensington. The purpose of the meeting was the organization of a j new club, The U. E. S. club. Those' present were: Annie Christensen, 1 Carrie Rasmussen, Ruby Neilson, ! Vera Christensen, Flossie Staker, Maggie Petersen, Geneva Sorenson and the Misses Burton. The club will meet on Thursday evening of each week. Sewing and refreshments refresh-ments will make up the program. Nina Neilson entertained theU. F. S. club Monday evening, first at the Melba Theatre and later at a slumber slum-ber party at her home. The ladies report a very pleasant time. Mrs. R. A. Broadhurst was hostess at an afternoon luncheon at her home Monday afternoon in honor of the Misses West and Wright of Sa-Jina. Sa-Jina. The affair was an unusually pretty one. The color scheme was white and yellow. Yellow candle shades, an elaborate centerpiece of golden glows and daisies, white place cards with golden glows drawn through them made a most beautiful beauti-ful effect at the table. The invited guests were Misses .Wright, Libbie West, Ailene Whittaker, Neva Waldemar, Wald-emar, Thelma Sutton, Frances Jensen, Jen-sen, Drusilla Meyrick and Mrs. J. D. Meyrick. Virginia Gilbert was the first to entertain another new club last week. The . girls of this club have L-hritained themselves the Sorority Girls, meet every Wednesday evening even-ing and engage in s. wing and eating whatever the hostess sees fit to serve. Games, fortune telling, music, sewing sew-ing and refreshments furnished entertainment en-tertainment for the following: Katie Gilbert, Vern Seely, Afton Jen-en, Florence Tuft, Yenctta Monsen ami Ste la Jensen.
