Show LET'S ELECT CONGRESSMAN FROM SOUTHERN UTAH. The .voters of Southern Utah should demand at State Conventions Con-ventions of both political parties part-ies that a man from the South be nominated for Congress. The North has Congressman Howell, the central part has the two senators, and the fifteen counties embraced in the territory terri-tory south of Utah County, containing con-taining more than one half of the state, and one fourth of - the population is entitled to the place. If the voters and press of the south, Republican, Democratic Demo-cratic and Independent papers, will join in this demand we will get a man in sympathy with our interests, who knows our needs, and who will be in reach of our people. We recommend that in all conventions and primaries held that a resolution be passed, f av: oring the selection of .a southern south-ern man. Both parties have good capable men for the place, arid we protect against the selection se-lection of other than a southern man to represent us, and point to the fact that Salt Lake and the north already has its full share of the National and State officers.
