Show v : f J f PROF. CHARLES KENT Famous Orchestra To Be Heard Here K. A. Zabriskie, A Mount Pleasant Man, One of the Soloists. Professor Charles Kent of Salt Lake City was in Mount Pleasant during the week and has made arrangements ar-rangements with the management of the Elite theatre to bring the Amer-icon Amer-icon Theatre Symphony Orchestra of .Salt Lake City to Mount Pleasant next Monday evening, December 18, when they will give a concert and dance. The orchestra consists of twenty people, all of whom are artists. ar-tists. Among this company will be E. A. Zabriskie, who was born and raised in MO'unt Pleasant and who has made a great record for himself as a musician in this western country, coun-try, and the people of Mount Pleasant Pleas-ant will indeed be pleased to hear him again, especially when associated with twenty people equally talented with himself. This will no doubt be one of the greatest musical treats ever brought to Mount Pleasant. It is not expected expect-ed that the trip in' itself will pay its own way with such a large company but it will give those who love music a chance to hear the best orchestra in the state. Prof. Kent has made arrangements to give a matinee dance at 3:30 for children so they may have an opportunity op-portunity to enjoy themselves with good music . |
