Dalton returned to her home in Salt Lake Wednesday . after a several weeks' visit with Miss Tina Ericksen. The second annual Bazaar of the Women's Missionary society was held December 11 and 12 and was a splendid splen-did success. Mrs. William A. Matson of this city returned home Thursday from a week's visit with her husband at Eureka. She also spent a few days with relatives at Springvllle. Mrs. C. N. Ericksen enterta-ined Friday at an elaborate birthday dinner din-ner in honor of Mr. Ericksen and their daughter, Iona. Covers were ladi for fifteen. The mutuals of the south ward were given a pleasant surprise after their regular meeting Tuesday evening even-ing in the form of a social with dainty dain-ty refreshments in conclusion. The mothers of the ward were responsible for the affair. The Relief Society of the south ward enjoyed a very pleasant afternoon after-noon Tuesday from 2:30 to 5 o'clock, it being their annual membership day. An excellent program of songs, instrumental selections and readings followed by an elaborate luncheon was enjoyed by about ninety guesta Mrs. Rex S. Jensen entertained at a splendid dinner Monday complimentary compli-mentary to Mrs. Harold G. Jensen of Castle Dale. Covers were placed for Mrs. A. L. Nilson, Mr. and Mrs. D. R. Jensen, Mrs. Harold G. Jensen, Mrs. A. S. Nilson and Mr. and Mrs. R. S. Jensen. The North Ward Y. M. M. T. A. and the F. O. O. N. H. club were the spon- j sors for a very successful dancing; party Monday evening in honor of j Frank Jones who left Tuesday as an j L. D. S. missionary to the Nether-' I lands. Jensen, Jen-sen, Ruby Sorensen, Deane Webb and Eva Ericksen. A successful dancing party was given Wednesday evening in the ! Elite Banqaet room by Messrs. and Mesdames R. A. Burch, A. D. Chris-, Chris-, tensen, Fred Rasmussen, M. D. Seely and E. W. Wall. The invited guests included Messrs. and Mesdames E. L. Underhill, Edwin Johnston, I. E. Jor-gensen, Jor-gensen, V. L. Johnson, A. L. Nilson, C. T. Drage, D. R. Jensen, Morgan Winters, J. W. Cherry, H. C. Beau-mann, Beau-mann, Earl Seely, Morgan Johnson, E. C. Johnson, Harry Ericksen, Lyle Allred, Miss Geneve Johnson, Miss Margaret. Candland, Miss Nellie Mc-Arthur, Mc-Arthur, G. Ronald Nilson, Will Crane, Bent R. Hansen and Roy Malmsten. Miss Margaret Candland entertained entertain-ed Saturday in compliment to Miss Geneve Johnson, whose' marriage to . D. Howard Johnson of Salt Lake will be one of the important holiday events. The living room was decorated decor-ated in 'a profusion of poinsettas and California red berries. The beautifully beau-tifully apopinted luncheon table he'd ' a centerpiece of holly and red berrins 1 around a miniature lighted Christmas Christ-mas tree. Red shaded candles were used with favors of red satin vanity van-ity bags and place cards in keeping with the Christmas idea. Those invited in-vited to meet the guest of honor were Mrs. A.
