Show Social Happenings i Mrs. A. L Larsen entertained a number of lady friends at her home Sunday evening Lunch and social chat made the evening a very pleasant pleas-ant one. H. Ericksen gave . a dinner party at their home Sunday Sun-day eveningin honor of their out of town relatives, Mrs. Hans Poulson i Roy and Anthony Poulsen and wives! of Idaho, and Mr. and Mrs. Chi is. ' Madsen of Manti and Mr. and Mrs. i E. Anderson, Mr. and Mrs. J. P. j Anderson of Ephraim and Messrs. John and Peter Monsen of Emery County. The South Ward Mutuals enjoyed a pleasant social at the South Ward chapel Tuesday evening. A fine program pro-gram and dainty refreshments were served. About forty persons were present and an excellent time is reported. re-ported. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Johanson, Jr. , were host and hostess at a dinner f party at their home Monday evening, f only relatives from out of town were ' present, About twelve in number. Mrs. Eph Madsen entertained at her home Friday afternoon in honor of Mrs. Duncan of Salt Lake City, who is a guest of Miss Virgia Whit-lock, Whit-lock, Dinner was served, Thosepres-ent Thosepres-ent were: Mr. and Mrs. Eph Madsen Mrs. C. D. Strang, Mrs. Duncan, Virgie Whitlock, Mrs. Mary Knudsen, Knud-sen, Mrs. A. L. Larson, Mrs. Davis and Mrs. Peter Lund. A very fine time is reported. Miss Virgie Whitlock entertained at dinner Sunday afternoon at her home in honor of Mrs. Duncan of Salt Lake. The invited guests were Mr, and Mrs. C. D. Strang, Mr. and Mrs. E. Madsen. - The Twentieth Century club held j its first Kensington of this year at the home off Mrs. J.F.Jensen Thursday afternoon of last week, Sewing and dainty refreshments were enjoyed. Mrs. A J. Stewart and Miss Marv Ann Hansen of Salt Lake werej special guests. The officers of the North Ward Y. L. M. I. A. gave a party Monday evening for Miss Talula Frandsen who has been one of their energetic workers. Refreshments were served and a token of their esteem for her was presenter by the officers. Mrs. Clarence Jacobsen entertained a number of young ladies at her home one evening last week at a sho er for her sister, Miss Talula Frandsen who was married Wednesday of this week to Mr. Edgar Nelson. Dainty luncheon lunch-eon was served. Some beautiful gifts were presented to the young bride to be. Those present were: Misses; Talula Frandsen, Sibyl Pearson, Fern Watson, Annie Braby, and Esther Matson and Messrs, Edgar Nelson, James Syndegard, John Pee, Cannon Can-non N 'lson, Parley Syndergaard and Mr. and Mrs. Jacobsen. |
