Mr. and Mrs. Emerson Bradley of Salt Lake City were visiting with relatives re-latives here this week. Mr. and Mrs. George Bradley and son Vincent of Manti were Moroni visitors on Monday. ! Miss Eva T31sen entertained the S. O. D. girls at her home last' Wednesday. Wednes-day. Mrs. Julia Prestwitch of Idaho came to attend the funeral of her father, Moses Draper, which was held on Wednesday. The Home Economics association will hold a meeting in the high school assembly hall on Wednesday evening, even-ing, Dec. 15th. Mrs. Dora Spell is the proud mother moth-er of a beautiful baby boy, which arrived ar-rived last Saturday, Dec. 4th. Funeral for Idona Blackham Impressive services for Idona Blackham, 13 years old, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Blackham, who died at her home on Saturday were held in the tabernacle on Tuesday Tues-day at 1:30 p. m. ; Bishop Bradley presided, other speakers were Daniel Anderson. Ferry Fer-ry Faux, Peler Peterson and Jabez Faux. The choir sang some beautiful songs. A large crowd of relatives and friends attended the services. Interment was in the city cemetery. Pioneer Resident aged 70 Dies George II. Bradley, father of Bishop Bi-shop Orlando Bradley, died at his home on Friday, Dec. 2. Funeral services were held at the Moroni tabernacle on Monday, Dec. 6 at 1:30 p. m. Jabez Faux, first councilor to Bishop Bradley, presided. presid-ed. The speakers were President Merz of Mount Pleasant, Bishop Davis Da-vis of Wales, Nathan Faux and Joseph Jo-seph Jolley of Moroni. The choir, .under the direction of Edna Hardy, rendered a unmber of beautiful songs and Ferry Faux sang "I Know That My Redeemer Lives." The speakers bore testimony to the integrity of Mr. Bradley and several of them told of their long and pleasant associa- tions with' him. i Mr. Bradley is survived by his wife and a large family of sons and daughters. daugh-ters. x HIGH SCHOOL NOTES The following program was given in devotional on Friday: overture, high school qrchestra; reading, "An Incident in a French Camp," Lula jFrandsen; talk, "Speculation," Zelma Taylor; talk, comparing Taft, Roose-jvelt Roose-jvelt and Bryan, Clara Stark and a reading by "Ned," Stella Thomas. A basketball game is scheduled between be-tween the Moroni high school and the Mount Pleasant high school on Friday, December 12, at Mount Pleasant. Pleas-ant.
