Show NEIGHBORHOOD NEWS Byron Carter was a Salt Lake visitor visi-tor during the week. Arthur O. Neilson returned from Manti Tuesday. He has been assisting as-sisting the County' Treasurer with the delinquent tax list. I Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Johnston returned return-ed Sunday from a visit to the World's Fair at San Francisco and San Diego. They had a most enjoyable time while on the coast. Miss Rhea Nelson departed for her home Wednesday after having completed com-pleted a very successful season as head of the Progress Millinery department. de-partment. The Home Culture club met at the home of Mrs. Abuer Crane Tuesday afternoon. Twelve members were present, and the regular program was carried out after which refreshments were served by the hostess. v Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Cummings are guests at the home of Dr. and Mrs. Winters. Mr. Cummings has just returned from a two years' mission for the L. D. S. church in the elate of Indiana. y Wm. Harvey and Mrs. Earl or Sail Lake City visited with Mr. and Mrs. Thos. Braby a few hours Thursday. They came over from Moroni where they attended the funeral of Mr. George Bradley. They returned to Salt Lake City Thursday. .Mr. T. G. Harrison will accept pupils pu-pils for vocal training. Practical voice building and instruction given those desiring to take the course. Pupils also accepted for piano or organ. or-gan. Without a doubt, the most comical and laughable picture production ever seen in this city was the Charlie Chaplin feature at the Elite Thursday evening. A single reel of good comedy com-edy is often seen but this is the first to ho stretched out over five or six reels and still be good, and a scream i throughout. |
