Mrs. McKell of Salt Lake City is a guest at the home of her sister Mrs. Ellis Pritchett. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Oldroyd and children of Canada are guests at the home of Swen O. Nielson and are visiting vi-siting friends and relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Norman went to Salt Lake City last week in their automobile to visit Mrs. Josie Mat-son Mat-son who was operated upon for appendicitis. Mrs. Sam Rigby who is with her husband at Baltimore, Md., was operated op-erated upon last week for appendicitis. appen-dicitis. She is reported as recovering recover-ing satisfactorily. Tlie- two-year-old son of Philip Os-tenson Os-tenson died on Friday, Dec. 3, oi pneumonia. Funeral services were held Sunday. The little one was ill only a few days. Miss Atelia Sanderson, daughte. of Morten Sanderson was operated upon at the Winters hospital for ; pus case of appendicitis Dec. 6. She is reported as doing very well at present. pre-sent. U. came home to spend Thanksgiving day. . All the students from the Snow Academy came home for Thanksgiving. Thanks-giving. Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Carter of Pro-vo Pro-vo spent the past week visiting their daughter, Mrs. Freeman Stuart, and ather relatives in this city. , Mr. Newel Cox is now operator at the Fairview Creamery. Mr. Will Garlic, Jr., who has been operator there for several years quit on December De-cember 1. Mr. Garlic expects to go to the TJnita Reservation in the near future. , Mr. and Mrs. Tyson Tucker of ! Idaho are visiting relatives and' friends at Fairview. Mr. Tucker : will leave soon on a mission to Groat Fntain for the Ij. O. S church. Mrs. Tucker will spend the winter hern. A dance was given at the pavilion in honor of Mr. Tucker on Wednesday Wednes-day evening, December 1. Mr. Tucker was formerly a Fairview man having been' horn and raisec to manhood man-hood here. Ward Conference was held at Fairview November 2S. J. Y. An- derson and C. L. Stewart of Mount Pleasant were the speakers. Tyson Tucker of Idaho also gave a short farewell address. A double mixed quartette was given, by Mrs. Anna Brady and company. Mr. George Terry sang a sacred solo entitled, "My Faith in Thee." The choir furnished excellent music. A large audience was in attendance. Officers Offi-cers were unanimously sustained. |
