Show MANTI TRIMS N. S. H. IN A LIVELY GAME At the Armory Friday.night the lo-I lo-I cal high school basket ball team suffered defeat at the hands of the Manti high school team by a score of 31 to 36. It was a close and interesting in-teresting game throughout and anybody's any-body's game until the last whistle of the time-keepers. Manti excelled in basket pitching, however, missing not more than half their sfcots while the local team got about one out of every five. Otherwise the teams were quite evenly matched. The support given the local team by their classmates class-mates and town people was very good. The high school band was present and pleased with several rousing numbers before the game and between halves. After ihe game the band furnished very good rrysic for the dance given under the auspices aus-pices of the high school and at l.ich all present enjoyed themselves "'m-mensely. "'m-mensely. We receive word this (Saturday) morning that the Snow Academy took the L. D. S. boys of Salt Lake Ciiy over the bumps last evening In a fast basket ball game to the score of 14 to 7 in favor of Snow.
