Show 1 T - "T i! Fountain Green ! ii jj A boy was born Jan. 2, to Mrs. B. F. Llewellyn. When about one week old, he was taken sick and on the 17th passed away. On the 5th, a boy was born to the wife of Ileber Livingston. The mother moth-er has been dangerously ill but is out of danger now. While Terry Oldroyd was wrett-iing wrett-iing about a week ago, ne had the misfortune of having his elbow put out of place. On the 18th, Mrs. Katie Anderson was operated on for appendicitis by doctors Bigelo w, Winters and Stocks . The operation was successful and , she is doing nicely. Wilkrd Collard, Niels Nielson and Royal Ivory were visitors at the ag- ricultural display and lecture given last Tuesday at Nephi. Joe Livingston and family have moved to Eureka. Miss Lizzie Elders has been ill and unable to teach school for a few days. Sarah and Cnristena Hansen of Manti and Emily Hanks of Idaho were visitors here last week. The Y. L. M. I. A. will give a'big leap'year ball here next Friday evening. even-ing. Everybody is looking forward to this event with great pleasure. John Aagard and family have moved mov-ed to Provo for the remainder of the school term. He is attending school at the Brigham Young University. Lamar Oldroyd and Mai 3a Bell of Glenwood are visiting here with rel atives and friends for a few days. Emma Anderson is home from I Price where she has been employed as stenographer at the Consolidated Wagon & Machine Co. She is visiting visit-ing with relatives and friends. The Coombs family will entertain in the Opera' House Wednesday afternoon af-ternoon and evening in the form of a reunion. Dinner will be served in the afternoon and a program and dance in the evening. The Fountain Green orchestra was engaged by the "Arlington" of Nephi Ne-phi to play for a ball Tuesday evening. even-ing. There was a large crowd present pres-ent and the music was appreciated and complimented by everyone. The Fountain Green school teachers teach-ers enjoyed a sleigh ride with C. L, Despain last Monday evening, .after which he took them to his hofiie in Cedar Cliff, where they were delightfully delight-fully entertained. Last Tuesday evening the Y. L. M. I. A. gave a social in the meetinghouse. meeting-house. Refreshments were served. The rules regarding eating were that no one was to use their right hand. If a person was caught doing this, he was fined a penny. Games were played and everyone enjo ed a -very pleasant evening. A welcome home party was given Tuesday evening for G. F. Johnson who was called home from his mission miss-ion a short time ago on account of his father's death' and his mother's illness, the latter of whom passed away shortly after his arrival home. On account of these conditions the welcome party had been postponed until now. |
