Show I Neighborhood News Mrs. John Rackman is in Sigurd visiting with her husband. Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Eatinger have been Manti visitors during the week Erick Gunderson is home from Price to spend a few weeks with his family. Go to the sale at the Progress Monday morning next. New silks at the Progress this week. Mrs. H. F. Wall was successfully operated on last Saturday at the family home for appendicitis. She is doing nicely. J. D. Meyrick was in Salt Lake last week attending the annual commun ication of the grand lodgeof F &A.M. Cashier, H. C. Beaumann, of the North Sanpete bank, and J. E. Gunderson Gund-erson have been business visitors in Price during the week. The Farmers Agricultural train will be at. Moroni, Feb. 29; Fountain Green, March 1; Mount Pleasant, March 2; Fairview, March 4th. Tonight, at Armory Hall, the Richfield Rich-field basket ball team will try their skill against the North Sanpete High School team. After the game a dance will be given. The management of the Opera House announce that the Josephine Deffry, an excellent company, will show at the Opera House Feb. 2nd and 3rd. The theatre goers of this city should not miss the opportunity of seeing this excellent company of artists. The A. D., Sutton Drug company is giving away to their friends and patrons, a beautiful painting by Miss Kenyon, called "In the Spring Time of Life." This is a most pretentious picture and shows the wonderful skill of the artist. Although done in pastel the picture has the quality of the very best oils A. J. Knollin, president of the Knollin Sheep Commission company of Kansas City, and vice-president of the National Wool Growers Asso- ; ciation, has been in Mount Pleasant during the week looking over the lambs that are being fed here for the eastern markets. Mr. Knollin ' stated that he found the lambs in a much better condition than he expected. Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Hafen were very pleasantly surprised by a num ber of their friends Wednesday evening. even-ing. A delightful supDer was served after which amusements of various kinds were indulged in until the early hours of Thursday morning when the guests were served with a breakfast guaranteed to keep them awake the rest of the day. Mace Nicholson, the popular song bird at the Sutton Drug store, is confined to his room with a severe case of sore throat. Mrs. Chas. Christensen gave birth to twin girls, Jan. 24th. It was premature pre-mature and the little ones died. Miss Lena Jorgenson was operated at the Winters Hospital yesterday and a ten pound tumor removed. Dr. S. H, Allen assisted in the operation oper-ation and word from the hospital this morning are to the effect that the patient is doing nicely, The members of the Gun Club were somewhat dissappointed last Tuesdav by the Provo hunsers, who had accepted a challenge to meet them in a rabbit hunt. The Club had made the neccessary arrangements arrange-ments to snow thp boys from the boys from the north a good time, but as.usual the nimrods from Provo Pro-vo failed to appear. The boys how-': pver were not to be deprived of a hunt. J. K. Madsen and Harry Ericksen were choosen as captians they each selected seven men of the club and journeyed to the sage brush wilds south of the cicy where 446 brave bunnies lost their lives.
