Show I 0 0 F ENTERTAIN The members of tJie I.O.O.F. lodge entertained in honor of their Grand Master, Parley P, Christensen, their wives and a number of invited guests at the lodge hall Tuesday evening. About fifty were seated ac the banquet ban-quet table which was filled to its full capacity with the best the land affords After the banq-jet, Grand Master Christensen delivered an elegant address ad-dress on Odd Fellowship, speaking in flowing terms of the good being done by that organization throughout through-out the civilized world. He expressed express-ed himself as strongly opposed to the much-talked-of Odd Fellows orphanage, orphan-age, but strongly in favor of the proposed Odd Fellows Home, built on what he termed, the cottage plan. Remarks were made by the Noble Grand and several of the past officers offi-cers of the local lodge A very social so-cial and pleasant evening was past. |
