Show I Fairview Blanche Poulsen is visiting friend." in Salt Lake City this week. Mrs. Swen 0. Nielson returned from Green River last week. Willard Mower and Mrs. Francis Mower are spending the week working work-ing in the Manti temple. Mrs. 0. K. Hansen of Provo is vising vis-ing her mother, Mrs. Helena Anderson Ander-son who has been quite ill the past week. Mrs. Phoebe Jones and children are visiting friends and relatives, Mrs. Jones was formerly a resident here but now of Arizona. Jed Terrv and family leav'e this week for Egin, Idaho. Mr. Terry sold his place to Albert Hurst and will remain in Idaho if suited with the countiy. Mrs. Ella Pritchett, who has been in thp L. D. S. hospital most of the winter was brought home last Sun- j day, she is still bedfast but some bet-. ter. Her husband and daughter, : Lydia, have been with her. The Relief Society will hold their meeting in honor of die first organization organi-zation T lesday, at 2 o'clock. A good program has been, prepared and ir the evening a calico ball will be given Tickets to be purchased by the ladies. Also everyone is expected to wear green sashes or ties in honor of Saint Patrick's day. The baseball association has again been organized and will give a grand ball at the pavilion Friday evening. Everybody is invited, the proceeds of the dance will go to buy new suits for the ball players. The Sunshine club met at Wm. Christensen's, March 4th, and at S. S. Sanderson's. March 11th. Pleasant Pleas-ant evenings were spent and dainty refreshments served at both places. Mrs. Maggie Sanderson and two daughters spent U;st. week in Wales, being called there by the death of her mother, Mrs. Reece. Mrs. James H.Sanderson, Mr. and M. s. Albert Christensen ami Miss nnio Anderson Ander-son also attended the fui.eval. M'ss Laura Winder and Arthur Porter were married in Manti Temple Tem-ple March 13th, they will make their home at Central, Sevier Co. Thev are both unfortunate in having been left deaf and dumb, when very smali children, from scarlet fever. Miss Winder leaves a host of friends in i Fairview, although she has been in i our midst only two years. The o.'licers of die Y. L. M. A. gave a bundle shower for Miss Laura Winder Win-der at the home of Frances Mower, March 9th. Mary handsome and beauiiful presents were given.
