Show i-Ioroni New Bishopric Is Named In i Local Vest Ward On Sunday the Bishopric of the West ward was released and a new one appointed. Bishop James Prestwich and his counselors coun-selors Rulon Johnson and Morris Jensen received releases, and in their place Ray B. McKinnon was appointed bishop, with Doon Livingston and Harold Christonson as counselors. Personals Ethel Bailey has returned home after visiting friends .and relatives in Provo and Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Livingston of Ephraim were Moroni visitors during the week. Mrs. John Kovill of Inglewood, California, spent several days visiting at the home of her son Joseph Revill and family. The Junior Sorosis club held their opening meeting for the winter season at the home of Mrs. Earl Tidwell on Tuesday night. Business matters were discussed, after which luncheon was served, and the remainder of the evening was spent in playing pinochle. Literary Club The opening winter meeting of the Literary club was held at the home of Mrs. Howard K. Lay on Wednesday night. Florence l.itle gave tho lesson on literature litera-ture after which club business was discussed and luncheon served. Donnetto Christonson and Myrtle Kelson were special guests. |
