Show Wilson And Other GOP Candidates Plan Sanpete Meetings Wednesday David J. Wilson, Republican candidate for congress from" the first district, will be featured speaker at a public meeting Wednesday Wed-nesday at the Kinema theatre at 7:30 p.m. The Mt. Pleasant gathering is the first of a series of three at which the congressional aspirant, along with three other GOP office seekers, will appear in Sanpete county, according to John McCal-lister, McCal-lister, Mt. Pleasant GOP chairman. Thursday the candidates will speak at Moroni at a meeting being be-ing planned by Ralph Blackham, county commissioner, and at Manti at a meeting being planned by R. C. Anderson, county GOP chairman. A special first-run motion picture pic-ture will be shown at the Kinema prior to addresses by the candidates candi-dates Wednesday evening, Mr. McAllister Mc-Allister said. Won't Interfere With Ball The political gathering will not interfere with the Mt. Pleasant Rod and Gun Club Deer Hunter's Ball, Mr. McAllister said. "Our program is arranged so that it will be over in plenty of time for those wishing to attend the ball," he declared. Candidates who will be introduced intro-duced with Mr. Wilson are Mark Anderson, candidate for secretary of state; Sherman Preece, candidate candi-date for auditor, and Pratt Kes-ler, Kes-ler, candidate for attorney general. |
