Show Spring City Jottings ... Aleathea Club Elects The Aleathea Club members were the guests of Mrs. Olga Black, Friday evening. The ladies la-dies present were: Mrs. Hazel Black, Mrs. LaVee Draper, Mrs. Ella Allred. Mrs. Grace Fullmer, Mrs. Ella Carlson, Mrs. Sylvia Neilsen, Mrs. Eva Grace Allred, Mrs. Lorna Jensen, Mrs. Margaret Petersen, Mrs. Leona Strate and Mrs. Otellia Justensen. All enjoyed en-joyed playing progressive rook with scores won by Mrs. LaVee Draper, Mrs. Hazel Black am' Mrs. Eva Grace Allred. The club officers for the coming com-ing year were selected with Mrs Vilate Hope as president; virr president, Mrs. Margaret Pe'e--sen, and Mrs. Olga Blak as re--retary and treasurer. The eve-ning eve-ning was spent in playing cards An election of officers took place with Mrs. Marie Allred voted as president, Mrs. Lola Sorenscr as vice president and Mrs. Thelma Thel-ma Madsen as the new secretan-and secretan-and treasurer. The outgoing of ficers were, Mrs. Dorothy Clark and Mrs. Thelma Madsen. Leon Allred, Surprised A group of friends observer'' the birthday anniversary of Leor Allred at his home, Wednesday evening. A progressive game of rook was played by the group and refreshments were served. Social Service Club Hears "Christmas Carol" The Social Service Club members mem-bers were entertained by Mrs. Christie Bunnell Friday evening. Mrs. Dona Allred, Mrs. Ruby All-red, All-red, Mrs. Nellie Blain, Mrs. Rose Schofield, Mrs. Helen Madsen, Mrs. Flossie Blain, Mrs. Ireta Strate, Miss Geneva Strate, Mrs. Utahna Strate, and Mrs. Irene Aiken were club guests present and Mrs. Eva Erickson was a special guest. Mrs. Helen Madsen Mad-sen gave a book report "The Christmas Carol." Each mem- ber spent the evening in doing handiwork. A dainty lunch wa-served wa-served by Mrs. Bunnell. |
