Show M0S0NI j By Special Correspondence I A shower honoring Mrs. Ray Bos well was given Thursday i jight in the West ward Relief .Society building with Mrs. Floyd Chryst in charge of the program. The young bride received many lovely gifts. Refreshments were served. Mrs. Marvin Anderson attended attend-ed the Hans C. Davidson family reunion at Fort Bridger, Wyoming iast wee.k. Relatives from Idaho, Wyoming, Utah and California :were present. Mr. and Mrs. Angus Blackham of Ruth, Nevada, are visiting relatives rel-atives here. They are guests of their mother, Mrs. Anna Black-ham. Black-ham. Commencing Thursday night, August 7th, there will be a knitting knit-ting class conducted in the West ward Relief society building. Knitting, sewing and remodeling will be-taught. The class is open to anyone wishing to take advantage ad-vantage of this opportunity. The price is 10 cents a lesson and a teacher will be here each Thursday Thurs-day night at 8 p. ,m. The Sorosis club held their first summer kensingtof.n Friday afternoon on the lawn at the home of Mrs. Marvin Anderson One half of the club entertained the other half. A pleasant afternoon after-noon was enjoyed by all present. Refreshments .were served. Mrs. Olive D. Anderson is visiting vis-iting her daughter Mrs. Bennell Gowers at Nephi. Mrs. Hugh Stringham and children have returned to their home in Caliente, Nevada, after visiting relatives here for two weeks. Mrs. Stringham's mother, moth-er, Mrs. P. J. Draper, accompanied accompa-nied them home. Miss Pauline Bailey entertained entertain-ed Friday night honoring Mrs. Van Livingston. The party consisted con-sisted of ten close friends of the honor guest. A very pleasant evening was spent. Refresh ments were served. Mrs. Livingston Liv-ingston left Sunday for Salt Lake City, to join her husband who has employment there. Mr. and Mrs. Mont Nielsen of McGill, Nevada, visited last week with relatives in Moroni and Fountain Green.. |
