Mrs. Earl Ivory. Mrs. W. B. Watson of San Diego, California, visited here during the week with' Mr. and Mrs. Lyiman Seely. Mrs. Ruby M. Ivory was hostess host-ess to the Gloom Busters club at her home Thursday afternoon. Special guests were Idena Crow-tlher Crow-tlher and Olean Allred. President Josepa R. Christiansen Christian-sen is visiting his son Ballard at Oamp San Luis Obispo, Cali-ioiiniia. Cali-ioiiniia. Mr. Boyd Ivory left during the week ilor Dodge City, Iowa, 'where he expects to receive .em-: .em-: ployment. Mr. and Mrs. Lyman, Seely 'mave received word that their daughter Enid who has been visiting vis-iting in San Diego, California, has accepted employment with tine Lipton Jewelry Company at San Diego. Mr. James P. Anderson of Overton, Ov-erton, Nevada, is visiting In Fountain Green with his sons George C. Anderson and Vernon Anderson and families. Fire of unknown origin completely com-pletely destroyed the feed yard and hay stacks owned by James L. Neilson Tuesday afternoon, 'the loss is estimated at one onousand dollars. Ken Rasmussen and Perry L. Allred or Las Vegas, Nevada, visited withi relatives here Sunday. Sun-day. Wiley Payne Allred, 76, died Ihursday morniing, July 31st, at his home of a heart ailment. He 'was born in Monroe, Sevier county, the son of Parley P. and Caroline Anderson Allred. Several Sev-eral years later the family moved to Fountain Green where Mr. Ailred resided until the time 61 ms death. He is survived by his widow, Marie L. Allred; and a son, W. Eugene Allred of Fountain Green; two daughters, Mrs. Afton A. Hansen and Miss Mildred Allred of Provo; and toe following brothers bro-thers and sisters, all of Fountain Green: Andrew H., Joseph. F., Charles and Ole A. Allred, Mrs. fcarah A. Anderson. Funeral services tor wuey r. Allred were held in the Fountain Foun-tain Green ward chapel Sunday, August 3rd with Bishop Irvin P. Oldroyd conducting. The ward choir under the direction of Mrs. Lillian Snow sang- ti;ee. numbers. Prayers were oflered by H. P. uLen and John H. Snow. The speakers were James L. Neilson, Mont Robertson and Bishop Oidroyd. Special musical numbers num-bers were a cello solo by Miss Hanna ivory with Mrs. Izola biaokham as accompanist; vocal duet by Walter and L. P. Anderson Ander-son of Nephi; vocal solo by Mrs. Lillian Snow. Interment was in rontain Green cemetery directed di-rected by Jacobs mortuary of Mt. Pleasant. The graveside prayer was offered by George Hansen of Provo. Out of town relatives and friends who attended funeral services for Mr. Allred were: Mr. and Mrs. Don Gadd, Dr. and Mrs. Warren Allred of Nephi; Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Sainsbury, Valgene Yorgason, Geniel All-red All-red of Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Rowley, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Allred of Helper; Perry L. Allred of Las Vegas, Nevada; O. V. Anderson and Mrs. Ruby A. Ericksen of Mt. Pleasant; Mrs. Reba Anderson', Mont Madsen, Leah Dyches of Moroni; Mr. and Mrs. Niels Oldroyd, Marie C. Anderson An-derson Jennie L. Christensen, Ivan and Isabel Christensen of Manti; Mr. and Mrs. Kimball Johansen of Delta; Mr. and Mrs. Homer Olsen, Mr. and Mrs. Marion Mar-ion Brown of Monroe; Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Yorgasom of Heber City; Mrs. Martha Jensen Mrs. Mary Bean, Mr. and Mrs. Alex Jensen and daughter Euleta and James Jensen of Richfield. |
