Show 'One Great Hour' To Be Observed The First Presbyterian church of Mt. Pleasant will participate in the greatest corporate act of worship in religious history when it will join with 75,000 other oth-er churches in the United States Sunday, March 27 to make an offering for world peace. Called "One Great Hour" the ceremony will be observed simultaneously si-multaneously by participating churches for the benefit of innocent inno-cent victims of war in Europe and Asia, according to the Rev. E. E. Bolilnger, pastor of the local lo-cal rhurch. The March 27 ceremony will be preceded Saturday evening by the "One Great Hour" radio broadcast which will be carried by all the leading networks and any independent stations which -are to pick it up from 10 to . 11 p. m. E.S.T., Reverend Bollinger Bollin-ger said. President Truman will speak during this broadcast to add his appeal to the appeal of America's Amer-ica's churches that every American Amer-ican attend his own place of worship wor-ship the next morning to participate par-ticipate in this great demonstration demonstra-tion of Christian strength for the peoples of Europe and Asia.
