Show Ignorance Indeed Any person who has kept up with the widening fields of specialized intelligence and knows how deep the probers delve, will be impressed by the vast shadow of his ignorance. With all due deference to modem mod-em intelligence the human race has merely scratched the surface cf things knowable, and the task that is ahead of thinking persons is almost vast enough to cause man to lose hope. This is merely the result of reading read-ing that the universe is now estimated esti-mated to be two billion years of age and that the theory of an explosive ex-plosive beginning is getting scientific scien-tific support. Considering the fact that man has not yet completed his survey of mother earth and that the entire universe is so large that the human brain cannot conceive the immensity of space, one is inclined in-clined to believe that what should startle us is our ignorance. |
