Show Bulletin Ready on Food Preservation "Safe Home Practices for Food Preservation", is the title of a ne circular just issued by the Extension Exten-sion Service of the Utah State A.gricultural College. IVIiss Elna Miller, extension nutritionist nu-tritionist and author of the bulletin, bulle-tin, has outlined steps necessary in heme canning of fruits, vegetables and meats. She recommends tse use of the pressure cooker as to only safe method of processing certain cer-tain vegetables and meats; gives the specific temperatures at which the various processings should be dene and concludes by outlining methods of drying fruits and veef-tables, veef-tables, together with details and specifications for the construction of a homemade dehydrate for drying dry-ing purposes.
