Show Calendar Fixed Ai Wasatch Work of razing the walls of Hun-gerford Hun-gerford hall, the administration and classroom building of Wasatch academy, aca-demy, which was destroyed by fire April 4, has been under way for tht past week; Darlington dormitory is geing given the finishing touches, to prepare it for use during me coming year as a temporary administration ad-ministration building; the faculty is complete, and things generally Are being whipped into shape fe'r the opening of school September 11. The contract for razing Hunger-ford's Hunger-ford's walls was let to G. W. Brand and Bert M. Wright and Sons. Difficulties over adjustments with the fire insurance company which had insured the building held up the work until recently. The racing rac-ing contrabt specifies that the work of lowering the walls is to be completed com-pleted by September 15, which is four days after the opening of school. The school calendar is as follows: fol-lows: September 11, boarding department de-partment opens; September 12, first semester begins; November 10 11, mid-semester examinations; November 30, Thanksgiving holiday; holi-day; December 22, holiday season recess begins; January 9, poet-holiday instruction commences; January Janu-ary 19 20, semester examinations; January 23, second semester begins. February 22, Washington's birthday; birth-day; March 23 24, mid-semester examinations; April 19, Founder's day; May 16, annual music recital; May 20, baccalaureate sermon; May 21 - 22, commercial clats graduation grad-uation exercises, semester examinations, examin-ations, award chapel, F. C. Jensen Literary contest, alumni banquet, annual commencement, and closing clos-ing of boarding department. |
