Show Snow. College Notes Miss Phyllis Holman of Mt. Pleasant Pleas-ant will be preseKtod as queen of the Girls' day festivities on Friday. April 26th. The Arnica club has made arrangements for a special lawn festival for the annual Girls' day celebration. Events of the day will be climaxed by a bail at the Dreamland hall In the eventing. Lucille Hansen, Virginia Nelson and Phyllis Holman, of Mt. Pleasant and Theo Erickson and Arden Peterson of Moroni, were members of the cast of "Drums to Death," which was presented last Wednesday night by the Athletic department of Snow college. The play was produced pro-duced for the purpose of obtaining funds for purchasing of athletic equipment. Coach Elddn Brinley directed the play which wae a three-act three-act mystery drama. Final arrangements for the High School 8enior Day at Snow eollege have been announced by the committee com-mittee in charge. The event, scheduled sched-uled for May 3rd, promises to be the most successful Senior day in years due to the increased number of activities and the Interest shown n them. In the athletic events announcement announce-ment has been made that winners in the tennis torunament will be presented special awards by Coach Eldoni Brinley of Snow college and Cannon of the D. W. Anderson Drug Co. A special exhibition tennis match will be given by the Dixon Brothers of Provo. Infield events and he horseshoe pitching contests winners will be given recognition. A feature of the day will be the high school posture parade. This will be the official parade of Sanpete San-pete County and will be Judged by Wilma Jeppson of B. T. U. and Captain Clarence O. Brunner. Spe-ml1 Spe-ml1 .w.rdii will be slven to the win ner. In all speech and domestic art contests, contestants will be given A, B, C, rating. A special award will be given to the school wlnnlnr the one-act play contest. It was announced that Ellen Agren and Myrtle Davidson of the U. S. A. C. will Judge the sewing contests. Speech events will be Judged by high school coaches agisted by a representative from the Unlversclty of Utah. |
