Barent-son Barent-son announce the marriage of their son, Carlton to Miss Blanche Johan-s?n Johan-s?n of Spring City on April 16th. Their many friends wish them success suc-cess and happiness. The Fountain Grefen students, who are attending High School in Moroni Mo-roni and the Junior High students of Fountain Green, who participated in the music contest which was held In Provo on April 18, 19 and 20 are as follows: Barl Seely, Earl Ivory, Percy Christiansen, Aden Johnson, Vrnno Johnson, Doris Mikkelson, Nellav Jensen, Barbara Livingston, Delia Hansen, Valeria Coombs, Lo-raine Lo-raine Mikkelson, Vida Sorenson, Chariot Barentson, Wanda Hansen, Maxlne Oldroyd, Edna Guymon, Elaine Johnson, Edna Zabriskle, Jessie Hansen, Ruby Rasmussem, DeLoy Anderson, Van Livingston, Don Chrir-tiansen, Lois Ivory, Mablei Oldrcyd, Hanna Ivory, Duane Anderson, An-derson, Victor Rasmussen, Ballard Christiansen, Fred Guymon. Aa a school, they ail did very well and returned re-turned home with many high honors. hon-ors. Mia. Lawrence Whitman and Infant In-fant daughter, returned to Provo Tuesday after a 2 weks visit with Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Oldroyxt. The Ladies Literary club members enjoyed a quilting party last Friday Fri-day afternoon at the home of Mrs. Hannah Mikkelson. After the sewing sew-ing was completed a delicious hot dinner was served. A most successful shower was given giv-en at Municipal Hall by Mr. and Mrs. C. S. Augason, in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Grant Larson. A pro-Tcam pro-Tcam was rendered with Charles Crawford of Bingham Canyon in charge. Refreshments were then erved after which the very large srroup and the public enjoyed a. free dance in Amusement Hall. Miss Rella Mikkelson returned home this week from Lyman, Utah, where she has taught school the past winter. Relief Society conference, with Mrs. Martha Edler, local president In charge, was held last Sunday in connection with Sacrament meeting. Mrs. Anna S. Blackham, relief society so-ciety stake prseident, was the visitor from the stake. Mrs. Annie M. Johnson returned home from Tremonton, Utah, last week where she has been visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Anderson, who are rejolo'ng over the arrival of a baby girl. The mother was formerly form-erly Miss Victoria Jackson of Fountain Foun-tain Green. The officers of the M. I. A. announce an-nounce their Ward Honor Day pro-sram pro-sram which will be held at the Theatre building on April 30th and is free to all. It will commence at 7:30 and everyone is Invited to be rrresent and) enjoy the evening's entertainment. en-tertainment. This will conclude the Mutual meetings until the fall work begins. |
