Show ' FAIRVIEW j By Special CorrcftpoJece '' Mrs. Ellen Nordstrom celebrated her 74th birthday anniversary at her home April 23. Her children, grand children and a number of close friends were entertained at dinner. Mrs. Nordstrom was bom at Mt. Pleasant inl861. She is the daughter of Martin and Mary Vance Allred. She married Augustus Nordstrom and they have had ten children, only four survive. Mrs. NordBtrom has oeen a widow for a number of years. 3he has acted as nurse the past ten or fifteen years, and has many friends in Fairview. Out of town suests were Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Terry and family of Spring City. Mr. and Mrs. Ell A. Day and family of Helper spent Easter Sunday Sun-day with Falrlvew relatives. Mr. and Mrs. B. F. Larsen and on Eugene of Provo were guests of Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Day, Sr. on Easter. East-er. A large number of Fairview people went to Manti Temple to attend the Easter services there on April 11. Leslie Coombs and Arthur Niel-on, Niel-on, who are attending the U. of U 3ptnt the past week end at Fairview. Mr. Alden Olsen announces the marriage of his sister, Deon Olsen to Mr. Robert Jones, son of Bishop and Mrs. Henry W. Jones. They were married in the ManMi Temple Wednesday, April lth. The young couple will make their home at Fairivew . A number of parties havo been given In honor of the newlyweds. Both axe graduates of the North Sanpete HiHgh School. Born to George and Merle Peterson Peter-son Jensen, a baby boy. |
