Since the rock crusher was moved about ten miles farther up Ferron Canyon, cne half mile east cf Wil-lo.v Wil-lo.v Creek, the job of spreading gravel on the new Ferron Cunyon icad has been much simplified. Not only dees the white gravel near Willcw Creek make good read surfacing- material, but the fact that trucks leaded with gravel now run dewn hill instead of up hill makes the gravelirg jco much easier. A spike camp wul soon be ready for operation near che rock crusher, thus helping to speed up construction cf the Ferron Canyon road. Captain Ernest Q. King-, Camp Surgeon, gave the fin? examination examina-tion to bin First Aid Cla.-.s of fifteen fif-teen cnroJlees this week, all of whom did well in the two hour written test. The dance given by the Ferron CCC Camp at the Star View, Friday, Fri-day, July 30th, was well attended by friends and relatives of the enrollees. Approximately four hundred hun-dred people were present, in spite of the wet weather. |
