The United States Is a vast coun'ry, with many conflicting interests, in-terests, seme sectional partisanship end much ignorance as to problems that exist in certain areas. These diverse factors had to be reconciled and an effort made to act in the Interests of the nation as a whole while giving due regard to specific crcps and their present difficulties. About all that we can say about the law is that we should give it a fair and liberal trial. In fact, since it is the enly law that, we have, we can not do o'herwise. If it works as well as its friends predict, pre-dict, then all will be well; if it works as badly as its foes prophecy, then it can be corrected or killed by another Congress. |
