Show David Candland Is Buried Wednesday At Chester David A. Candland, 72 years old, 251 East Fourth South Street, Salt Lake City, died at his home Sunday, following a brief Illness. He was born In Chester, Utah, and Is survived by two sons, Evan L. Candland of Oakland, California and bnersrian Candland of Los Angeles, Ang-eles, Califcrnia. Three grandchici-ren grandchici-ren also survive. Funeral services were held Tuesday Tues-day at four o'clock in the rose room of the Deseret Mortuary in Salt Lae City with Lester R. Fry officiating. offic-iating. Additional services were held at one o'clock Wednesday in the Chester ward chapel with Bishop Dallas Peterson in charge. The choir sang "Though Deepening Deepen-ing Trials Throng Your Way" and the invocation was offered by Christian Christensen. The choir then sang "I Know That My Redeemer Re-deemer Lives." Mrs. Joyce Jensen of Chester sang a solo. Joseph F. Bagnall was the first speaker. A vocal solo "This Is My Task" was sung by Howard Blackham of Moroni. Mo-roni. The concluding speaker was J. S. Christensen of Ephraim. The Chester choir sang "Beautiful Home" and the benediction was Siven by James C. Christensen. Interment took place in the Chester Ches-ter cemetery. Reed Madsen of Ephraim dedicated the grave. |
