Show Pioneer Historical Association Makes Arrangements for Annual Day at Mount Pleasant Plan To Give Rare Program Through the efforts of the different differ-ent committees, the twenty-ninth annual celbration of the Mt. Pleasant Pleas-ant Pioneer Historical Association to be held Saturday, March 5th, promises to surpass all formerly neld. The activities begin at one o' clock with a seienade by the Hamilton Ham-ilton School Band led by Marsden Aiired. At t;o o'clock (sharp) a prewar;, of old time melodies will bo held in the North ward chapel. The Shephard orchestra will furnish furn-ish introductoy music. The con-g.egation, con-g.egation, with Mrs. Obed Nelson conducting, will sing "High on tile Mountain Tops." Prayer will be by Mrs. Melvina Crane Seely; vocal solo, Charles Schmidt; reading of the minutes; piano solo, Mrs. Chas. Schmidt; vocal duet with banjo accompaniment, Alfred Gowers and Walter Anderson of Nephi; humorous humor-ous talk, William Olson; vocal solo, E. L. Swalberg of Gunnison; ad-d.ess ad-d.ess by President Leland Anderson of Manti; greetings by visitors; song male quartette; prayer, Joseph Jo-hansen. Jo-hansen. Immediately following the program, pro-gram, a reception for visitors and guests will be held at the Library. In the evening a dance with two orchestras and continuous dancing danc-ing will be held at Hansen Hall. A cordial invitation to attend is extended to the public. |
