Show Killing Frosts Are Holding Off Until Later This Year Weather for all of 1957 thus far coralinues to be unusual. There have been numerous instances since June 1 that heat records have been set for a particular date. Precipitation since January 1 now totals 15.59 inches which also al-so is a near record. Killing frosts, which normally visit the Pleasant Grove area before be-fore Oct. 10 are holding off in 1957, with none recorded to Oct. 22. Things have been damp during dur-ing the weather week ending Oct. 21 with only 0.11 of an inch of rainfall rain-fall for the seven days. Deer hunters, hun-ters, who like a little snow in the mountains, were somewhat disappointed. disap-pointed. However they may get plenty of the white stuff before the 10-day hunt is over. Predictions for the weekend are for cloudy skies, rain in the valleys and snow in the mountains. Old timers predict that the present storm will be followed by a frost of killing proportions.
