I .MISS GAY FARR Gay Farr to Wed Harley Hales in Temple Ceremony on October 30 Of social interest to a wide circle of friends is the announcement of the betrothal and approaching marriage of Gay Farr, daughter of Mrs. Lawrence W. Farr and the late Mr. Farr of Pleasant Grove, to Harley R. Hales, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford C. Hales, also of Pleasant Grove. The young couple will speak their nuptial vows on Wednesday, Oct. 30, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, with EIRay Christiansen, temple president, officiating. An open blouse will follow the same evening given by the bride's mother at the Timpanogos Stake House in Pleasant Grove from 8 to 10 p.m. No local invitations have been sent and all friends and relatives rela-tives of the couple and their families fam-ilies are cordially invited to greet the newlyweds. The lovely bride-elect has bidden her sister, Beverly, to attend her as maid of honlor; her sister, Pauline, Paul-ine, and a cousin, Kathleen Moyle, as bridesmaids; and the groom's sister. Judy Hales, as junior bridesmaid. brides-maid. Don Hales will assume best man duties for his brother. They both were graduated from the Pleasant Grove High School and LDS Seminary where Mr. Hales served as seminary president presi-dent and was active in sports. Both were popular members of the Thespian Thes-pian Club, and in music circles.. Following their graduation, both young people have attended the Brigham Young- University. |
