Show Lindon Lions Hear Dr. A. W. Homer At Friday Meeting The Lindon Lions Club met Friday night in the Park Build-. Build-. ing. President Ivan Walker took charge of the meeting and introduced intro-duced guests and speaker of the evening. There were twenty mieimbers and six guests present to hear Dr. W. A. Homer of American Fork tell of his experiences exper-iences while attending the school for the blind in California. Dr. Homer was sponsored by the American Fork Lions Club and while at the school he received a seeing eye dog and learned how to use one. President Walker gave a report of the financial standing of the club. The program in addition to the speaker consisted of two accordion solos. The group was served a delicious delic-ious home-cooked meal under the direction of Foods Chairman Colleen Col-leen Walker assisted by Margaret Holdaway and several other Lady Lions. |
