Show AAUW Hears of Travels in Europe At Meeting Oct. 5 The local unit of the AAUW met on Oct. 5 at the Central School. President Ramona Jacobs presided and presented business matters. Mrs. Jacobs also urged as many as possible of the local unit to attend at-tend the Nov. 12 meeting at Cedar City when state chairman of the status of women Mrs. James Beleu will address AAUW clubs of the state. For the rest of the evening, Mrs. Margaret Hayes, Mrs. Jennie Jen-nie Gleason and Miss Marjorie Holdaway showed slides and films of the Passion Play at Ober-amcergau, Ober-amcergau, which they attended when they toured Europe last summer. They also showed many other slides of pictures taken through Europe. These three ladies la-dies were hostesses for the occasion. oc-casion. Next meeting will he held on Nov. 2 when guest speaker will be the State Arts chairman for the AAUW.
