Show Hal Haycock Named as Scouting Head Election of S. Hal Haycock, industrial in-dustrial banker, as Timpanogos District Chairman in the Utah National Park Council, Boy Scouts of America, was reported today by Floyd Loveridge, Scout Executive. As Timpanogos District Chairman, Chair-man, Mr. Haycock will direct the scouting activities in his district. He will be assisted by Cloyd L. Christiansen as District Commissioner Commis-sioner and Rulon Dean Skinner, District Scout Executive. Six operating op-erating committees will be organized organ-ized to carry out the functions of the district committee. Mr. Haycock has lived in Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove for 12 years, and he and his wife, Lucy, have four children, two boys and two girls. Both of his sons are Eagle Scouts. Active in the LDS Church, Mr. Haycock is currently a high coun-i coun-i cilman in the Timpanogos Stake. He was in the Bishopric for 6 years and served as Timpanogos organist for ten years. As a civic leader he has served as chairman of the finance committee com-mittee for the Pleasant Grove Swimming Pool. He ajso has served ser-ved as a director of the'-Pleasant Grove Chamber of Commerce. "In his capacity as district . chairman, Mr. Haycock will be responsible re-sponsible to make the Council program effective in his district. We welcome him to his impor-, impor-, tant position," concluded Mr. Loveridge. |
