Show Local News Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Simper drove to Kamas Sunday and spent the day. visiting friends there. Miss Geniel Simper has accepted a position as stenographer at the Maeser Euilding at the Brigham Young University. Mr. and Mrs. Nick Urie and Miss Agnes Urie and Mrs. Florence Woodhuse on Saturday evening attended at-tended the wedding of Beverly Chaussant and Ben Harries in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. James Simper and four children are leaving this weekend for Manhattan, Kansas, where Mr. Simper will enter Kansas Kan-sas State College, where he will complete his final years study in veterinary medicine. Mr. and Mrs. S. W. Hilton and Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Taylor of Lehi are touring in the east. Their main point of interest is Roanage, Va., where they will visit Mr. and Mrs. Hilton's daughter Frances and Leigh Haynes and three children. Before returning they will visit New York, Washington D.C., and other points of interest. Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Anderson and son Douglas have just returned return-ed home to Brigham City, after spending sometime visiting Mrs. Edah Allred of Pleasant Grove. They will return to Topeka, Kansas, Kan-sas, Sept. 16 where Eugene has been working for the past two and a half years at clerical work. |
