Show Relief Societies Will Give Sunday Evening Programs Relief Societies throughout the ten wards of Timpanogos Stake are scheduled to give the program at the Stmday evening church services. ser-vices. Fourth AVard The Fourth Ward meeting will be presided over by president Alice Judd. The singing mothers, directed direc-ted by Faye Fordham and accom- panied by Hazel Dawn Belliston will sing. Mrs. Lila Clark will be the featured speaker. Bernice Christensen will represent the Stake Board. Fifth Ward Fifth Ward president Maymetta Johnson will preside. Music will be by singing mothers, directed by Bernice Christensen and Ardyth Lewis. Stake board representative Edith Walker will be present. Featured Fea-tured speaker will be Zola Black-hurst, Black-hurst, with scriptural readings by Relief Society members. Third Ward President Grace Sorenson will be in charge of the meeting at 5:30 p.m. Music will be by singing mothers directed by Pauline Cowley Cow-ley and accompanied by Amanda Wadley and Emily Pedersen. Speaker will be Delilah Fugal, with scriptural readings by Relief Society So-ciety members. Edna H. Newman will represent the stake board. Remarks Re-marks will be made by Bishop Willis Wil-lis Banks. Manila Ward Presiding in Manila Ward will be president Blanch Warnick. Music Mu-sic will be furnished by the singing mothers directed by Jeanette War-nick War-nick and Martha Leonhardt, also a special musical number by a ladies double trio, directed by Mrs. Wamick and accompanied by Ef-fie Ef-fie Adams. Sylvia Syl-via Peterson will be the featured speaker. There will be five scriptural scrip-tural reading and remarks by the bishop. Benediction will be pronounced pro-nounced by Alice Deveraux. Sixth Ward President Melva Mattinson will preside and prayer will be offered by Alta Nelson. Music will be by singing mothers under direction of Ida May Christianson and Winona Duvall. Mrs. Nora Macfarlane will be the featured speaker. Melvina Judd Jones and Edna Newman will represent the stake board. Benediction Bene-diction will be pronounced by Mar-jorie Mar-jorie Weeks. First Ward President Blanche Green will preside with Wanda Blackhurst directing the singing mother and Sadie Beck accompanist. Two numbers will be given. Speaker will be Ellen Richins with scriptural readings by Elma Anderson, Mary Bradford, Alta Mae Wood, Alta Hone and Vivian Naylor. Stake board will be represented by Dahlia Walker and remarks will be given by the bishop. Prayers will be offered of-fered by Margaret Olpin and Vilate West. Grove Ward The Grove Ward Relief Society will direct the program at the Sunday evening service at 7:30 p. m. next Sunday night. According to Mrs. Cora Bezzant of the Grove Ward Relief Society Presidency, the program for the evening will be in accord with the General Board. The theme will be: ".Search the Scriptures." All ward members and Relief Society workers are cordially invited in-vited to attend. Lindon First Ward A special program will be presented pre-sented by the Lindon Ward Relief Society at 7:30 Sunday evening in the Lindon Ward Chapel. With Nina Hunter conducting, Carol Wells and Florence Abraham Abra-ham will speak on the topic, "Search Ye the Scriptures." Norma Nor-ma Brady, Cosby Rogers, Gail Pack, Miriam Ash, and Marjorie Wilker will quote from their favorite fav-orite scriptural passages. Remarks will be made by Bishop Ray O. Walker, and music will be furnished by the Singing Mothers. Lindon Second Ward Juanita Larsen will conduct the special program to be presented Sunday evening at 5:30 in the Lindon Lin-don Ward Chapel by the Lindon Second Ward Relief Society. Speaking on the subject, "Search Ye the Scriptures," will be Virginia Bezzant. Mabel Harris, Audra Hooley, Thelma Harris, Ella Smith and Eda Hardman will quote from their favorite scriptural passages. Remarks will be made by Bishop Orval C. Bawden, and music will be furnished by the Singing Mothers. |
