Show LOCAL NEWS Mrs. Reuben Jeppson and Mrs. J. Robert Carson, sisters of Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove, with their husbands and families and another sister Mrs. John M. Dudenake and husband of Pocatello, Idaho, all attended their father's funeral in l:em Friday Feb. 2-1. Their father was Paul A Millet, who died Mcnday, Feb. 20 in Provo. Mr. and Mrs. Carnelius Mathews and family have returned from a very cnjryable trrip to the west coast, where at Long' Beach they visited with their son Cornelius Mathews Jr. who is stationed there with the II. S. Navy. The young-navy young-navy man's wife Ann, stayed on the coast, and will spend the time there with her husband while his ship is in port. Ethel Radmall was complimented compliment-ed at a surprise party on her birthday birth-day party the past week, when friends and neighbors formed an informal party for her at the home of Mrs. Nita Nelson. Friends who brought good wishes, gifts and re-frreshments re-frreshments were Lucile Harmer, Louise Wiscomb, Margie Wadley, Helen Radmall, Daphne Westover, Anne Nelson and Nita Nelson. On Washington's birthday twelve twel-ve youngsters gathered at eight-year-old Susan Chidester's home to help her celebrate her birthday anniversary an-niversary by playing games and sharing ice cream and birthday cake. Born on Washington's birthday, birth-day, Susan was honored by her brother Dennis, and the following guests: Laurel Ostergaard, Deanne Hunter, Vickie and Ann Montgomery, Montgom-ery, Sally Beers, Carolyn Brachen-berry, Brachen-berry, Verla Scott, Annette Edwards, Ed-wards, .Susan Harris, Connie Page, Barbara Manley and Karen Walker. Walk-er. George W. Larson observed his birthday on Feb. 22. Family members mem-bers and friends came during the afternoon and evening to wish him many happy returns or phoned or sent cards. Among- them were Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Olpin and Nor-een Nor-een and Glen of Ogden, and Don, who is attending the BYU. Mrs. George N. Larson and Janet and Melanie of Salt Lake City; Judge and Mrs. Martin M. Larson of Salt Lake City. Also former fellow teachers from American Fork where Mr. Larson served for years as principal of the Harrington ' School. I |
