Show Merrill Warnick to Participate in Gov't. Conference Men-ill N. Wamick, president of the American Dairy Association has been invited to participate in President Eisenhower's Conference on the effectiveness -of the government gov-ernment program of "Droughth Rehabilitation and Relief in the Mid-West," section of the United States. Mr. Warnick will leave Salt Lake City by air Sunday afternoon. Early in December Mr. Warnick Warn-ick received a letter from True D. Morse, under-secretary of agriculture, agricul-ture, inviting him to participate in the Conference at Wichita, Kan., Jan. 14 through 16. Earl Butz, assistant secretary of agriculture recently advised Mr. Wamick that the agenda of the conference would! include a visit to some of the droughth areas adjacent adjac-ent to Wichita; talking with farmers far-mers and businessmen in -the stricken areas, and later, making an .evaluation of what has been done and recommending improvements improve-ments for the future. volved would be increased in value after a few years of operation.
