Show Seminary to Sponsor Delta Phi Chorus, Variety Show April 1 8 One of the outstanding musical offerings of the current season w:ll be presented at the Timpanogns Stake House recreation hall on Wednesday evening, April 18 at 8 p.m. The Pleasant Grove Seminai y is bringing to this community the musically celebrated Delta Phi male chorus from the Brigham Young University in a benefit program. pro-gram. A group of 40 returned mission- out the intermountain states. Last summer the chorus toured through the East Centra States, Central States, Northern States, and Great Lakes missions. This year plans are being made to tour the Southern South-ern States Mission of the Church. The chorus is directed by Dick Robison, a music major at the 'Y' who is also a fine singer, whistler and trumpet player. The spirit that these brethren portry to the audiences is thrilling. The chorus has been organized or-ganized for eight years and has performed for audiences through- Variety Show will be given by the "Y-O-lins," a group of six girls who play violins; the "Sophomores," "Sopho-mores," a quartet of young lady singers; the "Gaynotes," a trio of girl singers; and Veiiand Whipple, who provides comedy selections. |
