Show Reception Friday Honors Newlywed Young Couple The home of Mr. and Mrs. George Smith on Second North provided a beautiful and fitting setting for the open house reception recep-tion honoring newlyweds Gerald-ine Gerald-ine F. West and Howard Dietlaf. The brides parents, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Francom of American Fork were hosts of the very nice affair. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Dietlaf of Pleasant Pleas-ant Valley, Nevada. The couple were married in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on Friday Sept. 21, with Elder Charles B. Richmond officiating. Witnessing the impressive rites were the brides sister, Mrs. Lawrence Hardman, her grandmother, Mrs. Harciet Francom of Payson and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Hilton. On Friday evening, Sept. 28 at the George Smith home they received re-ceived relatives and friends with a background of palms, ferns, gorgeous gor-geous gladioli enhanced by lighted candelbra. The bride was attired in yellow nylon net over taffeta, ballerina length, full skirt, and smart lace bolero. She carried a corsage of pink carnations. Mrs. La-Rae La-Rae Hardman and Beverly Francom Fran-com arranged the gift display. Linda Lee West, Sandra Ann Adams, and Linda Carson were gift bearers. The newlyweds honeymooned in Nevada, and are now at home at 290 North Sixth East in Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove. |
