Show iii r ' -J VIKING VIGNETTES by Karen Fugal Tuesday, the Charter members of the International Honorary Society So-ciety of Quill and Scroll were initiated in-itiated into the society. Quill and Scroll is a olub for journalism students. Members are Gordon Christensen, Marilyn Nedlsen, Wayne Betts, Mary Beck, Karen Fugal, Bob Jones, Kathryn Croft, and Annette Harper. V-V Wednesday, third period, the spe3-ch class presented two one-act one-act plays. The plays were "Ada Gives First Aid," and "The Line is Busy." On the same day, Mr. Christensen took the cast of "The Line is Busy" to perform for a play directing class at the Brig-ham Brig-ham Young University. V-V In the last edition of the school paper, Paul Millar was named "Student of the Week." Walter Adamson was named "Teacher of the Week." Congratulations to both of you. V-V Tomorrow, sixth period, the Brigham Young University A Cappella Choir will present a concert con-cert to the studentbody. The choir is noted throughout the country and it will be a wonderful opportunity op-portunity for the students and the public to hear them. V-V Wednesday evening the Thespian Thes-pian Initiations were held. In a candlelit ceremony the new Thespians Thes-pians took their oath of office. There are about ten old members and twenty new ones. V-V Congratulations to our basketball basket-ball team! We are the Ftegion Seven Champions. If we can support sup-port our team at the tournament they will take us a long way, so lot's do our best, and our team |
