Atwood was installed new president of the Provo Real Estate Board, county -wide organization, organ-ization, at a dinner meeting -dur-v Ing last week. . Mr. Atwood succeeds Ward Heal, outgoing president. He will be a delegate to the national real estate boards convention at Dallas, Dal-las, Texas, Nov. 11-17. Guests at the Provo installation included Sam Hymas, newly-elected president of the Utah Association Assoc-iation of Real Estate Boards; Burt A. Weight, secretary-treasurer and Melvin Woodbury, first vice-president of the state assoc- ' iation. Paul A. Brown was chairman of arrangements and master of ceremonies of the evening. There were over 100 guests. Twenty real estate firms of Utah County were represented. New officers installed besides President Atwood were G. J. Gar-lick, Gar-lick, vice president; and Milton G. Johnson, Wilbur R. Harding, Paul A. Brown, Fred F. Sumslon, and Ward Heal, directors. Installed as members of Uie Multiple Listing committee were Weston S. Taylor, chairman; Al-meda Al-meda Gammon, Afton M. Payne, J. Edwin Stein and G. J. Gar-lick. Gar-lick. Mrs. Gammon reported on the multiple listing operation and Mr. Heal gave the retiring president's report and presented certificates to outgoing officers, directors and committeemen. Mr. Atwood, after receiving the gavel from Mr. Heal, gave his acceptance ac-ceptance speech and presented Mr. Heal with a certificate and gift. |
