Mills, Postmaster Pleasant Grove pcsU-i patrons will be interested in the fact that as a special contribution by the Post Office Department to the goal of eradicating polio, Postmaster General Arthur E. Summerfield has made arrangements for the new polio stamp to be kept on sale indefinitely. The new 3-cent commemorative stamp "Honoring Thase Who Helped Fight Polio," was placed on sale Jan. 15, 1957 in Washington, Washing-ton, D.C. and is now on sale in most offices. It was originally plannedl to issue 120,000,000 of these stamps; however as a continuing con-tinuing reminder to people to take their polio shots the Post Office Department will keep the polio stamp on sale at all post offices for an indefinite period. Every time you see a polio stamp on an envelope let it remind re-mind you of the progress that has been made in fighting the dread disease as well as the efforts yet required to finish the job.
