Show i ' V7 j .' Open House To Honor Mr. And Mrs. William Hone Sunday I Friends and relatives of Mr. and Mrs. William M. Hone are invited to attend an open house being held to commemorate their Golden Wedding anniversary. It will be at the family residence, 691 South, Third East Street, Pleasant Grove, between the hours of 3 and 6 p. m., Sundayv, Sept. 9th, They request re-quest no gifts. 1 William M. Hone, a son of George Geo-rge and Jane Mills Hone was born Nov. 4, 1879 at Benjamin, Utah. In his youth he attended the public and the Presbyterian church schools at Benjamin and Payson, and later the Brigham Young Academy Ac-ademy at Provo. It was at the B. Y. U. that he accepted the teachings of the L. D. S. church. After his baptism he becmae active act-ive in church affairs holding the vaioius offices in the Priesthood, being a High Priest at the present time. He and Mrs. Hone have served for 25 years on the Old Folks Committee of their ward. He worked at the mills at Mammoth and the Creamery at Benjamin a short, time but has devoted most of his life to beekeeping and farming. farm-ing. He Is county bee inspector at the present time, which position he has held for many years. Adeline Richardson Hone, a daughter of Shadrach Montgomery and Keturah Hand Richardson, was born Aug. 12, 1881 at Benj. amin. She received her education there. Her life has been devoted to her family and church activities. She served as President and teacher teach-er in both the Primary and M. I. A. organizations, a ward choir member for a number of years and historian and chorister of the local camp Daughters of UUih Pioneers. At the present time she is a visiting teacher in the Relief Society making 30 years service in that office. Mr. and Mrs. Hone were married Sept. 11, 1901 in the L. JJ. S. Temple, at Salt Lake City. Their first residence was at Mammoth, where they stayed but a short time soon movnig to Benjamin where they lived about eight years, moving mov-ing then to Pleasant Grove where they have resided for the past forty for-ty years. They are the parents of one son and five daughters: Mrs. Rulon W. (Ida) Krimhall, Mrs. Glen It. (Jennie) Gilbert, and Rulon J. Hone of Pleasant Grove; Mrs. Le Fay (Lexiel Steele of American Fork-, Mrs. W. Reed (Vera) Nut-tall Nut-tall of Provo, and Mrs. Arlin D. (Muriel) Fowler of Lehi. There are 31 grandchildren. |
