Show Fall Flower Show To Be Feature Of P. G. Community Fair Sweepstakes prizes will be a-warded a-warded in all sections of the Fall Flower Show which will be held in connection with the Pleasant Grove Community Fair and housed in the high school gymnasium on September 14, it was annouced Thursday by Mrs. Effie Adams, general chairman. The Flower Show is being sponsored spon-sored by the Pleasant Grove Garden Gar-den Club and the Pleasant Grove Lions Club, and entries will be re. ceived from 7 a. m. to 10 a. m. . on the day of the fair.. Judging will take place from 10 a. m. to noon, when doors will be open to the public. According to Mrs. Adams everyone every-one is invited to make entries. Commercial exhibits are welcomed but will be non-competitive. Sweepstakes prizes will be a-warded a-warded besides the ribbons. In the junior section and house plants section, two sweepstakes prizes will be awarded. There will be 16 sweepstakes awards made, Mrs. Adams said. RULES FOR SHOW Exhibits must be left until after show closes at 9 P. M. All flowers should be named correctly. Preference will be given named specimens in close decisions. All flowers shown must be grown by exhibitor. (Exception is made in artistic arrangements.) Entrants must bring own containers for display of bouquet bou-quet exhibits. Show committee assumes no responsibility for returning, loss, or breakage, but every precaution will be taken to protect them. Some containers will be available for single specimen displays. All exhibitors must attach entry card to eaph entry. Judges will award such ribbons as the exhibits deserve. Classes will be judged in accordance with the Point Scoring Scor-ing Sytem of the National Council listed below.
