Show Utah County Farm Bureau To Meet Feb. 20 The annual meeting of the Utah County Farm Bureau will be held Friday, February 20th, at 10 a.m. in the 2nd-8th Ward Chapel in Springville (on highway 91) according ac-cording to J. Taylor Allen of Vineyard, president of the County Farm Bureau. Local arrangements are in charge of E. H. Boyer, Leonard Leon-ard Harward, and Mrs. Blaine Murdock. Motion pictures and demonstrations will be presented to women. Department sessions will be held in the a.m. for discussions discuss-ions on womens work, membership, member-ship, publicity, dairy, poultry, livestock, crops, fruit, Boys 4-H, Irrigation, Commercial vegetables, roads, and young couples groups. Leaders and extension workers will participate. At 12:30 a ticket luncheon will be served by the Springville Relief Society. Musical numbers on the search for talent program will ' be presented. pres-ented. The women of the Farm Bureau and the Extension Service are cooperating on exhibits of cakes and needle work. There will be a drawing for prizes. Favorite recipes will be collected. A special guest speaker for the afternoon session will be John Schenk of Logan, president of Utah State Farm Bureau. Election of officers will take place. State officers and extension workers will be special guests. All farmers and their wives are invited. Tickets will be in charge of local Farm Bureau Presidents. |
