Lindon Lions Start Fine Project; Installation Of School Flagpole The Lindon Lions Club has started star-ted another of its fine civic projects pro-jects the installing of a new forty-foot flagpole in front of the Lindon school. The elementary school has not had a pole on the grounds, so the children have received re-ceived no training in the flag-raising ceremony. The entire project of furnishing and installing the flagpole is being carried out by the Lindon Lions Club. Those in charge of the various var-ious phases of this project are: Howard Jensen, cement work and forming; Ivan Blain, fabrication and painting; Willis Larsen, erecting erec-ting the pole; Mayor W. D. Chapman, Chap-man, who is also vice president of the club, obtaining the use of the city equipment? Lee Swenson, advertising and coordination. The principal, Elwood Baxter and the PTA president, Juanita Larsen, were co-sponsors of this project, assisted by H. V. Holdaway, Lions Club president, in the planning and supervising. It is anticipated that the pole will be completed and ready for use by Feb. 16.
