Show I PROCLAMATION J - - J! CLEANUP, PAINTUP, BEAUTIFY PLEASANT GROVE 1 MAY I. 2. 3 - y. WHEREAS, Pleasant Grove each year has an annual Cleanup, t- Paintup and Beautification Week, and, 3 j- WHEREAS, the city in the past has been looked upon as one of the cleanest communities inl the West, and, h WHEREAS, it is our welfare in showing prospective homemak- - ers that our city is a desirable place in which to live -j and raise a family, and WHEREAS, it is our duty to eliminate health hazards through -j cleanliness, and WHEREAS Beautification can only be achieved through clean- lineness, neighborliness, and cooperation, NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved that May I. 2, 3, be set f aside as Geanup, Paintup, and Beautification week in Pleaasnt Grove, to work for improvements that will X make our commuuity a model to other cities. I, W. t Robert Marrott, Mayor of Pleasant Grove City, and t in cooperation with the Junior Chamber of Commerce, i- call upon citizens to cooperate in cleaning and beaui- tying the city on the above named days.
