Show Seven PGHS Music Students To Go To Tucson Meet Seven talented music students of the Pleasant Grove High School will leave this afternoon to represent repre-sent the school at the California Western Music Directors' Association Assoc-iation Conference to be held in Tuscon, Arizona. Accompanied by Harvey Rawlinson, director of instrumental music, the students expect to be away for approximately approxi-mately a week. Band students who will join the 150-piece all-conference band are: Johnny Iverson, bass horn; Anne West, baritone; Sandra Cullimore, trombone; Keith Henrichsen, trumpet; trum-pet; Owen Ash, trumpet, and Doril Woolley. This group, which also comprises the brass sextet ensemble, ensem-ble, will present a special performance perform-ance sometime during the conferences confer-ences 4-day program. The sole student chosen to represent the Pleasant Grove High School orchestra is violinist Mary Woolston. She will leave this afternoon to join the 300 members of the all-conference orchestra. |
