Show Mary Viklund Becomes Mrs. Robert McKay In a very impressive but simply arranged home Wedding Miss Mary Louise Viklund on Saturday evening, Nov. 1, became the bride of Robert M. McKay. The ceremony was performed before a bank of chrysanthemums and lighted white tapers, by Bishop Bish-op LeGrande Ercanbrack in the presence of the immediate family and very close friends. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Viklund and Mr. and Mrs. Claude S. McKay of Pittsburg, California, are parents of the groom. For her marriage the bride chose a smart gray suit, enhanced by a large orchid. Her sole attendant at-tendant was her sister Helen, and Conrad Loader stood as best man. After the marriage Mrs. Viklund Vik-lund entertained the bridal party and family at a chicken dinner, served in buffet style. The newly weds left Monday for San Francisco,' where Mr. McKay, Petty Officer, 3rd Class, U. S. S. Henderson, will report to his base, and where they will make their home. The bride's parents have received re-ceived word of their safe arrival. |
